In Memory of a Resistance Fighter from Cannes

- Born in Marseille on November 4, 1906, widower, father of a boy, he lived with his sister Claire at 1 rue du Port in Cannes.
- Profession: Director and typographer of the Aegitna printing house at 25, then 27 rue Châteaudun in Cannes (now rue Jean Jaurès).
- Manager of the printing house: Mr. Célestin Freinet.
- Military service: Barracks of the Blue Devils Alpine Hunters - Nice, mobilization rank in 1928 as Corporal, then Sergeant.
Guillaume met Peter Churchill at an exhibition in Cannes and was recruited into the Buckmaster network thanks to his skills.
In Cannes, the Aegitna printing house became the stronghold of the network, producing fake documents, underground newspapers (Combat), youth training, and messages for Villa Isabelle via BBC Radio or Radio Patrie, in preparation for the future Provence landing.
Upon liberation, Guillaume received the Medal of Liberated France, also known as the Intelligence Star.
